I found a front-engine Porsche something-or-other at a friend’s salvage yard. It hasn’t run in years (plates expired May 2000), but it’s pretty much complete. He can’t sell it whole, but it can be parted out.

Yes, certainly. I was just identifying the car. Cheekily. :p
At least, I am fairly certain it is a 924. The 944 has flared out rear fenders, but I believe there are a few 944s that don’t have that (that, or there are a few 924s that do).

924s have the big circular reflectors on the side. That for me is the quickest way of telling.

Someone drove that thing.
Into the Ground..
No, I do not feel bad about that. Maybe a little.. I was looking for the 8 bit version.

That rear hatch glass is valuable to both 924 & 944 owners.

It also appears to have a factory voltmeter in place of the A/C knob (Most came with A/C) which is also valuable.

Does it have manual or power windows? I might be interested in the manual window mechanisms if it’s got ‘em.

Pretty sure they’re power windows.
